RE: Remington Auto Rifles

Quilly, do ya still have it. I buy it off ya cheap. Thats the reason I have had about 4 or 5 over the years. People say they jam, and get fed up and I ended up with them for half the price.

Also, when putting back the action, don't put a little oil, but wipe it all out! With an oily rag that might be ok.

Right now, I have a aquaintance that says his BAR jam so I am going to try to sneak it out from under him for half price.

RE: Remington Auto Rifles

I have owned two Remington automatic rifles in .30-06 and one Browning automatic .30-06. The Remingtons and I have long been parted and the 1977 Browning will never be sold. It is an excellent field gun. The Remingtons jammed and the Browning does not. I would pay the little extra money and go with the Browning. Another problem with the Remingtons is that the bolts are hard to shut and I have known people to snap their guns on deer. The Browning bolt opens very easily and closes without effort.

I must agree with some of the guys above. There is really only one auto rifle, the Browning Bar.
