Staying Dry & Quiet in the Rain while Stalking

Does anyone know of a poncho in camo that is quiet and will keep me dry while stalking in the woods? And where I can get it.

The sooner I get this info the better.

Thanks
Tom

Don't know of a poncho. Anyone tried Frog Toggs. Don't know how quiet they are but have seen em in camo at the store. Bibs and a parka not what you want?

I just put on my neoprene waders, the same ones I use to fish in. Keeps me warm and dry and there vewy, vewy qwiet :D

Waded thru some pretty nasty brambles with them on and they don't leak yet.

I found my solution. A custom made Saddle cloth Parka that has a rubber liner built into the material. Got it in the DeepWoods Grey camo. It comes with good and large utility pockets that are 15" Deep.

www.DayOneCamouflage.com He doesn't have it listed on the site but he can make them.

Tom,

I don't know of a quiet poncho, but you might want to check out some of the newer hunting jackets/parkas around that are both insulated, and/or waterproof. As noted,
take a look at Cabala's web site or their catalog. Lots of good stuff there.

I use a typical nylon poncho myself, but only when it gets to raining pretty steady. I carry it in my daypack. When stand hunting I don't figure the rain hitting on it makes any more noise than it does coming down on all those leaves. When still hunting I just
make a point to move very, very slowly to limit any noise. Must be doing something right 'cause I've snuck up on, and/or stumbled across several deer that didn't know I was there until I got within about 20yds. of 'em. [:-] Of course, they've been mostly
does or young bucks.
