Colt Light Rifle30.06spr?
 

Im new to the forum but not the sport we all enjoy.My local gun dealer has this gun and is willing to sell it to me cheap..The gun looks beautiful,synthetic stock and its brand new!Anyone know where I can get any info on this gun?Its not listed on the COLT website or anywhere I have looked.I just don't want to go on the dealer's say and I'm in the market for a new 30.06 right now.I'm no gun expert so any input would be helpful.Thanks....

It is my understanding that Colt bought Ultra Light Arms from Mr. Forbes and turned out the Light Rifle. Mr. forbes has bought back Ultra Light Arms and it is now New Ultra Light Arms. Colt also had a recall on some of those rifles.

That's what I heard too. They are supposed to be great shooters. Ask your dealer about the recall.

Yes you are correct about the recall but this one is not affected it even comes with a card that states about the recall and this one was made after the recall thus is unaffected.I really can't see going wrong with this gun after more research.Anyone have any experience with colt rifles?(good or bad).Thanks for the info jeffk and unclenorby!
