you can get a simmons deerfield 3-9x32mm scope from walmart for $22.99 I think, I have bought a few of them over the years I have them on 3 of my rifles including a .22 match rifle I put together. On that scope I replaced the adjustment dial dust covers with stoney point target knobs the scope works like a charm in smallbore matches when adjusting between 50 and 100 yards. heres a picture of what my 22 does with just cheapy thunderbolt 22's 10 shots at 50 yards. With match ammo I can put 3 shots through one hole at 50 yards.

RE: Scope question

i have a cheap Simmons 3-9x40 scope on my CZ and it is a nice scope for a 22 and wouldn't be bad on a high power either.
