Synthetic Stock

Which is better.........A Synthetic Stock, with matte nickle finish on all metal surfaces, or a walnut stock witha blued barrel.

I was just wondering because i was looking at the prive of 2 .22, and the they are the same .22 but one has a synthetic stock and its cheaper than the one with the walnut stock

What is the difference bettwen the two, and is one better than the other, or is it personal preferance.

RE: Senthetic Stock

I personally like the synthetic stock because it can take more abuse but a good wood stock with nice grain is much nicer and you don’t get that hollow sound from the wood stock. I would have to say it’s a personal preference thing.

Synthetic stocks are more durable and more stable in wet weather.
