Browning A Bolt Micro Hunter

I'm thinking about purchasing one of these. I would appreciate hearing about anyone's
experience with one.

i got one last year in 7mm-08
I just love it. I really like the 60 degree bolt throw. bolt is slick. good trigger, a joy to carry and shoot well. Shot a nice 7 pt buck with it last year.
I am taking it out to WY with me this fall for antelope and mulies.
I also like the detachable box magazine. Keeps ammo handy and not ratlling around in your pocket.
They are a little pricy but I like mine. Put a Burris Fullfield II on it.

7mm-08. I have another one in the Rem. Model Seven and have no complaints there.

Tenn,
If you already have a 7-08, why not try something else? I hear that the .260 Rem is another dandy mid-power cartridge. Or maybe a 300 WSM?
I think that will be my next one. Would have had one already if I hadn't just had my Ruger 77 - 300 WM re-bedded and trigger job.

I really like mine as well... Also in 7mm-08, I guess us white tail hunters know our cartridges...

Anyway I have one problem with mine... The stupid magazine plate, it should not stick that far out from the bottom of the stock, If you ever see their advertisements (website, magazine ad, etc.) they touch the photos up so it doesn't show, so they know it is a problem.... NOTE TO BROWNING - FIX IT!!!

Very nice little rifle. I wish they made one with a synthetic stock.

I have a Browning A-Bolt synthetic Stalker I don't know how it differs from the gun you are talking about. Mine is a 308. It shoots very well even with the cheap Remington factory loads.
