BFR's

On average how much do they cost, not retail. To those who own one or have owned one how did it shoot and how did you like it? I'm looking at possibly a 500 S&W, 475 Linebaugh, 30-30 or 45-70

Gunsamerica has 500 S&W listed for $749. And the 45-70 is listed at $849. Hope this helps.

$749 for a .500 S&W??[:-] HMmmmmmm. gonna check that out.

I have absolutely no idea why I am drawn to that monster of a thing but.......

I held a .500 next to a .480 Ruger and the difference is COMICAL.:D

I paid $849.00 for my 45-70. I bought it because the felt recoil is supposed to be less than a Ruger Blackhawk in 44 Mag. I was pleasantly surprized that it is quite pleasurable and manaable to shoot
