I'm not too familiar with blackpowder revolvers--is that an 1851 Confederate Navy?

They are fun guns but are horrible to clean.

bah easy to clean, I have a plastic jug filled with Bore cleaner, I throw the whole thing in it over night, take it out in the morning, wipe it, and dip it into a jug of gun oil, wipe it down, cleaned. :)

64 shots so far, FUN GUN, though i cant hit anything with it, its aim is terrible.
Even at targets 10 feet away it always hits about 2 feet high... ?

My granpda has an replica 1851 Navy .44 from Cabela's. Looks just about identical.

1851 navy was never built in .44, .36 only. Modern "bigger is better" recreation. Not tough to clean at all. Pull the wedge, run some patches downbore, pull the grips from the frame, and throw it in the dishwasher and run it thru a wash/dry cycle. Lube it good afterwards.
