Which is the best .308W ?

I am looking for a good lightweight STAINLESS SYNTHETIC in .308w.

I am tossing up between

(a) Fluted lightweight Remington 700

(b) Sako 75

(c) Weatherby Mark V "lightweight"

I've got a Sako Varnmit in .223 and it shoots .4 MOA . I like the look and fell of the Remington however it seems to have got a mixed reputation of late. I know nothing first hand really of the Weatherby. OR should I stick with the Sako's?

I really need to know from people who have RECENTLY bought any/one of each as recent knowledge is releveant knowledge. (I was caught out (and made to look like an idiot ) by recently stating things about the problems of Plasma T.V's -vs- LCD T.V's which have all been addressed........oooops!!)

Regards

I would certainly consider the tikka t-3.They are reasonable priced and the ones that I have fired were quite accurate.

To have the best chance of getting a real tackdriver out of the box, get the Sako. However, the Remington will cost less and any gunsmith worth the name can fix it if you ever have a problem, plus for a few bucks (less than the difference in price) they can bed the barrel (if needed) and smooth up the trigger and you will probably have a gun that shoots as tight as the Sako. I have never owned a Weatherby, so I can't intelligently comment on them.
For what its worth, I will say that I plan to one day own a Mark V (in either .300 Win Mag or a .338). I love the look of those stocks and the smoothness of the actions.
Good luck whatever you decide.
