Recoil on NEF .308?
 

Anyone that has a NEF .308, how is the recoil? Thinking of getting one for myself and letting my 14 yr old son use it too if the recoil isn't too bad.

I dont know about the NEF, but the H&R Ultra Comp wich is really the same thing as a NEF Handi rifle but with a few more bells and wistles. It Has a muzzle break at the end of the barrel thats reduces recoil. check it out its not much more than a handi rifle

They list one in their catalog,Handi-Rifle (SB2-208),I got one in 30-06,Just a little bigger than the 308, the recoil, not that bad, practice with the ligther bullets,The heavier bullets seems to have a little more kick.
