need recomendations

im looking around for a rifle around the .300 caliber. I dont want to pay over $300 for it. I want an accurate one....i dont really like the NEF's though. any recomendations?:eek:

Yeah, put down the pipe.;) You are going to have to go used if you don't want to spend over $300.00 Even the savage rifles at WalMart are more than that.

For less than $400.00 new you can get into some Savages and some Howas / Wea. vanguards. Go to guns america and search for "Howa" or "Vanguard". There are some just over the $300.00 mark.

try to find a push feed (post 64) winchester mod 70. These guns are available at a low price, and will work without problems till the day you die. Provided you give them the care they deserve.
