What do u guys think of taurus firearms?
 

I am looking too purchase a semi-auto 22 and the local gander has a brandnew taurus 63 on clearance for $200. Anyone have any experience with this weapon or taurus itself!

The only taurus I have fired is the 454 casull. It is a great gun. Very well made.;)

Taurus has come along way. i would consider buying one now.

But i would look at the ruger mkII's. IMO the best semi .22's made. just ask my buddy that bought a browning buckmark. he was all proud this weekend until the ruger 22/45 shot circles around his. not to mention the thing jammed constantly!
but the taurus would probably be a good gun.

Taurus is making fine guns at great prices now. I really want one of their Raging Bulls in 480 Ruger.

Now on to soarkrebel's comment about the buckmark.[:'(][:'(];) I got one for Christmas when I was 16 years old and that thing has performed flawlessly for 14 years now. I have never had a single jam from that pistol and for a hand gun it is super accurate.

Well bigbulls sometimes you get a good one and sometimes you don't . i just have seen some buckmarks that had problems. this wasnt the first.
It's kind of like the rem. 742 debate i happened to get a good one and others didnt.

When i worked for a friend in his pawn shop we had several returned for jamming. yeah browning fixed them but i can't recall any rugers having problems. but thats not to say they haven't.

The only Taurus I have is a Raging Bull .454, and it is as good as the best S&W I have ever used!!

I figured that but i had to say something!:D

And by the way i almost bought one those limited buckmarks in mossy oak. it was a good looking gun. but those were the ones that were coming back.
