Model 70 Featherweight

Well guys...I've been wanting a Featherweight for years so I think I'm going to work on getting one in a .270 Win.

My question....I have a Model 70 Black Shadow that I think I'll trade for...that's the only way I can afford a new rifle right now. What's a Black Shadow .270 in say 90% condition worth in trade in. I figure at least $300. I'm trying to talk my buddy into buying the rifle in case I ever want it back. I shot my first buck with it! [&o]

What do you guys think?

If you trade it in maybe $200 to a dealer on a featherweight . A Black Shadow in very good condition retails for about $300 so you can't expect full price for a tradein . You would be better off selling it yourself .

You can buy a brand new .270 Black Shadow rifle/scope combo at Walmart for $379.00. Trade value won't be much and selling it would be better, but neither will likely bring $300. Good luck, though. That featherweight is a nice rifle.
