I've never really worried about my scatterguns until recently. I've got a .410 and a 12 that I'm wondering about.

First, my 12 gauge, a J.C. Higgins Model 20-12 gauge. Recently I've been thinking about taking my shotgun deer hunting next year, so I want to get a rifled slug barrel for that, and I want another choke for it because I'm sick and tired of shooting with the EXTREMELY TIGHT full choke that I have in it. I also can't figure out how to remove my barrel, I don't think it comes apart from my receiver, does anyone know anything about this gun??? There are no seams or anything like that to let it come apart.

Second, my .410, it was my dad's, and his dad's before his, but it's not marked anything other than the gauge, choke, and patent # on the barrel, and the receiver says "Iver Johnson's Arms and cycle works, Fitchburg, MASS, U.S.A. Champion". I have no idea who made it, or where I can find a new forend piece for it, which my dad lost. Anyone ever heard of Iver Johnson???
