Default i need some help

does any one know how to fix the forearm of a pump shotgun (mossberg 500)? Its realy realy loose and giggles around and make a lot of noise.

Is the entire forearm including the action arms loose or is it the actual wood / synthetic forearm that's loose to the action arms. If it is the first then you get to live with it. It is suppose to be a bit loose and wiggle around otherwise it wouldn't cycle cause it would be too tight.

If it is the latter then there is a ring on the font of the forearm that screws on and off and that ring keeps the fore arm attached to the action arm.
