RE: What size is it?

There should be some markings on it. Look real close with a magnifying glass inside and out. I'd be surprised if there were no markings at all.

PA redneck, if you can`t find any writing on the choke tube, you can always use the old dime trick. If a dime will not quite fit in the tube, it is full choke. If the dime barely fits in the tube, it is a mod. choke. If the dime fits really loose, or does`nt even come close to fitting, you probably need to mic the tube.

Does the choke extend out past the end of the barrel. some come with a extra full turkey only. they are black flat. if you cant figure it out mad chokes are good . or kicks makes a good choke. we let people shoot chokes in there guns to see what patterns best. they aint cheap though around 65.00 for a good turkey choke. i found that it was worth the cost.

RE: What size is it?

My Verona 12ga came with 4 choke tubes and they are only marked with some cutouts on the edge of them, no writing. One has 1 mark and one 2, one 3 and one 4. Is there any way to tell which size is which?

Also, if I just wanted to go out and buy a choke tube, so I knew FOR SURE what it is I have do I have to get a Verona tube, or will any tube made for a 12ga gun work?

Thanks;
