EVER heard of these shells???

Twice the knockdown power! From Zanoletti Cartridges of Italy come these patented 12-ga. Double Impact Cartridges. Each fires 2 ozs. of lead shot in 2 different payloads. The first one opens up at 30 yds., and the second pattern carries out to about 100 yds. Perfect for shooting clays and hunting upland. Each Shell is 2 3/4", available in a wide range of shot sizes. Better order now, because this Ammo is discontinued and will no longer be available. Gone for good.
State Lead Shot Size, as available in the Shopping Cart below. Order ONLINE Today!

i copied this from a website ofering these shells...anyobyd ever heard of or used these things? i was wondering how these things would pattern at 40 yards....

they say the 2nd load carries out to 100 yards...must be encased in something then opens up at a certain range after fired...

if they patterned good they be good for turkey...they got 2ozs of lead in each shell so there should be enough pellets...

lemme know wut ya think

RE: EVER heard of these shells???

I suspect the ammo is discontinued for a good reason. Duplex loads have never really worked well for me. If a person thinks about it skeptically, 2oz of shot in a 2 3/4" shell can't be moving at very snappy velocity. The 30 yard mark would seem pretty practical if the other half of the shot load weren't moving through the air with it. Would make a mess of whatever that tight ball of shot hit. As for the second charge of shot traveling to 100 yards with good pattern, would a person trust a 1 oz load on game at 100 yards? Especially if the muzzle velocity is as low as it must be to move that much shot out of a 2 3/4" hull? I usually use 1 1/4 loads from a 12 gauge even for pheasants at 30 to 40 yards. I think I would take a pass.
