cabelas new gauge changers
 

Got the new cabelas cataloge the other day and saw that they now have short tubes to fit inside a 12 gauge to change to 29, 28 and 410. Have seen the full length ones that skeet shooters use but not these short ones that are only 3 or 4 inches long. Anyone else see these? I think they are only $40 for all three gauges. I wonder how they work. Looks interesting

I agree, looks like a good idea but I wonder how well a .410 would pattern with such a big barrel. I'm sure somebody will give it a try for that price. I nominate you.lol

Wonder how a slug in a smaller gauge would work in that??? It would probably dent up your barrel or something.

I have sean them to. my dad due to a helth poblem cant shot his favoit 12 sxs i was thinking of the 20 ga adapters. but with them being so short what about the gas seal? How many fps would the shot charge loase?
