RE: 25-06
i found a guy with a remington 700 ss bdl w/ det. mag in 25-06. i bought it back in nov. i was very impressed with the groups it shot . the gun had only been shot 22 times and was new. i like it and would recommend it to anyone. some of the new remingtons i would look at before buying though. but sometimes you can find good deals like i did.. i did find that 25-06's are hard to find. i have had several peaople try to buy this one allready . i wont sell. the ruger is good but i just put in my two cents worth.

RE: 25-06
Mike Dyer I have the 25-06 ruger stainless .A great gun .I like the gun better than the remingtom adl synthetic . I have it too in 22-250 and 243 win so I'm familiar with both of the guns you mentioned .

RE: 25-06
Go with the Ruger. I have both Remington and Ruger. My Remington has done well. My Ruger 77 is still new but I like it better then my 700 Rem.I don't want to stir up another heated discussion but Remington's quality has gone down hill quite abit over the last several years.Ruger has stayed on a even keel or improved over the years.Ruger will get my money again on my next purchase. Ruger Redhawk
