Mossburg 500
 

Im looking for information on the pump action mossburg 500. Has anyone patterned this gun for turkey? How did you like it? Do you have any choke or shot recommendations.

I have one but I don't use it for any turkey hunting nor have I patterned it. I can tell you though it is a solidly built gun and functions great and it won't break the bank either.

A load that patterns good in one 500, or any other brand, may not pattern as well in another 500. You'll just have to shoot it with various loads and chokes to find which it likes best.

I have a 500 in camo that Iv usd for turky for a long time Iv got 13 to date 1 that is my biggets 2 10inch berds 1 1/2 spers and was 26 ponds that I got in ky on pulic land I us a hasting's 640 choke and winchester superems 5 shoot and Iv not lost a bird yet and Iv taking 2 at 50 yards hope this helps
