To lap, or not to lap.

I am going to install Leupold Quick Release Mounting System with my new Zeiss VM/V 5-15x42T on a Weatherby Mark V Accumark 7mm STW. Leupold informed me there is no need to lap their rings. What do you folks think? Thanks in advance.

i go with Leupold also. Actually, I did go with Leupold. I installed my scope in their rings and did not lap.

One more vote for don't worry about the lapping.
