slug chokes in 11-87????
 
just wondering if i can shoot slugs through my stock arrel. do i need special chokes? or should i get a new barrel? if anyone shoots slugs with this guns, what type do you use? thanks!

What kind of choke does your factory barrel have? I'm assuming it's smooth-bore. If you have an open cylinder or improved cylinder choke, you can shoot rifled slugs without any problem. Some people use screw-in rifled chokes as well.

Ditto to what Aught Six said. Smoothbore barrels can shoot rifled slugs. For shooting sabot's, you need a fully rifled barrel for best results.

i have a smoothe bore barrel, and i have a full, improved cylindar, modified, and turkey chokes... thanks for the help...

use your improved cylinder choke and rifled slugs or buy a new rifled barrel and use saboted ammunition.
