I think RNZ is onto something about the Remingtons. I have a Browning A-Bolt , it's a shooter.

How about the most under rated? I'm thinking the Savage rifles, I don't have one, but friends that do have very good luck with them and they are very reasonably priced. My next rifle will definitely be a Savage!!

ok i'm a remington nut butttt i have to say they have been disappointing me with the quality. so at this time there being added to my list.but i reserve the right to retract when they come back into standard.

i own several brownings but the quality is not like it used to be. same with some remingtons. the most overated is weatherby

Most over rated rifles...Browning and Knight.

@ crashman: you are right about the Savage being the most underated rifles,I own a 110E and can consistantly produce under 1" groups at 100yrds,and for a fair bit less money than a Remington,Ruger,etc.
