Nikon Prostaff?????
 

I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with a prostaff scope from Nikon?

I really like the looks of them and am planning on trying one soon. So far the Buckmaster is the only one I have tried. That one didn't have enough eye relief or was to fussy for me.

I got a 3x9 last year only because I needed it quick so the niebor kid could use my 30-06 and was blown away at how clear and crisp it is for the price . In my opinion it is a great buy for someone on a budget or not wanting to spend alot of money on a scope. But from what I see on this forum there CS isn't that great but I can't say first hand. I got a prostaff 3x9x40 last year and put it on my 50cal cva optima, so i havent pushed it passed 150, but my observations after about 50 shots with it on are that it is a very clear scope. In low light it is just as good as other 40mm scopes ive tried, in that price range, i have no experiance with any more expensive 40mm scopes so i cant compare it to them. (it does not gather light as well as my 50mm simons, but i didnt expect it too). As far as holding a zero no problems at all so far, i fell while carrying it and checked the zero with no problem. Eye relief is fine with magnum load so you should be ok with any common load. It focuses quite fast once you get it adjusted right. For the money i think its a good scope. I have had no problems yet. jmo.

Thanks for the replies. I have a couple Buckmasters myself and don't have any regrets about them. I just wanted to be sure of their other line up before buying one.

I have a prostaff on my NEF .243 bull and it seems to hold POI very well. Has stayed clear in all weather
