last weekend when i purchased my little rabbit gun i also bought my 1st variX-III.
it is a 1.75-6X32mmE now i know why some people say that the scopes ( or some ) come up quicker than peep sights. this one i mounted on my F.N. sporter chambered in 35whelen.
can't wait to sight her in.

Quilly,
Sounds like you found the perfect scope for your rifle.
I'm always amazed when i read about all the "high powered" scopes people buy for there rifles!!! I've hunted all over Alaska and some of Canada and the lower 48 states, takeing everything from Dall Sheep to Brown Bear. Most of my rifles have a 1 or 1-1/2 to 5 or 6 power scopes on them, and i've never felt i needed more scope!!!
If you can't bag an animial on 4 to 6 power, your shooting too darn far!!!! "If" you spotting game, get your self a good pair of binoculars!!
