Gary - I too am a lefty. I own Ruger, Remington and Browning bolt action rifles. And I'd say you cant go wrong with either of them. Its just a shame we have to pay extra for the bolt on the "other" side. If price is an issue, check the gun shops used gun racks. I often see the leftys sitting there somewhere. In fact my local shop has a nice ruger .270 LH.
Oh, I'm rambling - If you're thinking of buying new I guess its would really be up to you to decide which rifle you like best. LH rifles are availabe frm Winchester, Remington, Ruger, Savage, Weatherby and Browning.
I do like the 60 degree bolt throw on the Browning.

Greeting from another lefty.
I've always had good luck with Rem 700's. I've a few and never got one that didn't shoot more than 3/4" @100yds with factory ammo, as long as that ammo is hornday or federal. I've also have one Model 70 in 375H&H that shoots well.
Savage is a good rifle for the money if you like the looks.

I have had left handed bolts in Weatherby, Ruger, Savage, Browning and Remington. I had good performance from all of them. By left shoulder now makes it hard to operate the LH bolts so a couple days ago I picked up a new Remington Synthetic stocked 30-06 Pump. This will be the forth one of the Remington pumps that I have owned 3 in 30-06 and one in 270. They will shoot right along most bolt guns. The 270 was the most accurate rifle I ever owned.
