RE: Remington Sendero
I don't know about the 300 mag but i had a Sendero chambered in 25.06 and it was a tack driver out of the box and would shoot anything i fed it under an inch at 100 yds. It comes with a full length aluminum bedding block with the barrel floated. The trigger was way to heavy at about 6lbs but was adjustable and was nice and crisp breaking at 2.5 lbs once the adjustments were made. The only reason i didn't keep it was it was just to heavy for me or my son to use as a hunting rifle and i have 2 other 25.06's so i really didn't need it. IMO the Sendero is a nice rifle.

The accumarks come with the same 1-1/2" accuracy guarantee as other weatherby rifles. The senderos that I have fired were all sub MOA rifles. Those included 25-06,7mmremmag and 7mmstw.

RE: Remington Sendero
I own a Remington Sendero chambered in 7mm-STW. This rifle shot 1" or better groups with factory ammo. I had a hard time picking which handload I would use becase it shot them all very well.
I would pick another Sendero in a heartbeat.

I had a bad sendero. Not all of them come out tack drivin. One of the lugs was not squared with the action, and the crown was out of round. I had the barrel changed out with a krieger, and now all is better. Remember, its a toss up with factory rifles.

I have a Sendero in .300win and it loves 180gr bullets, especially Matchkings and SST's. If you get a Sendero have the trigger adjusted. I would say get a Sendero and spend the extra money on the scope and you will not be disappointed. I have a Swarovski on my Rem 700 s/s and it is great.

RE: Remington Sendero
The only real difference I can see between the two is the Rem. Model 700 Sendero is a heaver rifle than the Weatherby Mark V Accumark. A friend of mine owns a Rem. Model 700 Sendero in a 7mm RUM, and I own a Weatherby Mark V Accumark in a 7mm STW. I haven't shot mine yet as it is not scoped, but my friend's Rum shoots .75" three shot group at 100yds. with handloads. Good luck.

RE: Remington Sendero
The sendero is a tack driver, a client brought two out with him and I got to do alittle shooting with them before season. I'm not much of a bolt action man but those where very nice rifles, he didn't have anything extra gunsmithing done to them and they put holes in holes.
The accumark is a fine rifle too, but its built lighter which for some making easier to carry in the field. A rifle that guarantees 1 1/2 moa is atleast standing behind their product.
