Charles Daly M-98

I was looking at a model 98 mauser sold by Charles Daly . The price was certainly reasonable $309 for the laminate model and a adjustable trigger . Does anyone have any info on this rifle or familiar with it .

The Charles Daly M-98 of today, was known better a decade ago as the Mark X and Mark X Whitworth Mausers. If the Charles Daly's are as good today as the Mark X's were 10-20 years they ought to be decent quality and good shooter. I built many a rifle off Mark X action until Clinton put the arms embargo on what is today known as Serbia (formerly Yugoslovia ?).

Anyway they C/D's come from the same manufacture that made the Mark X and it ought to make a decent rifle.
