anybody shot the .480 revolver yet?

Has anybody shot the .480 yet? How does it compare to shooting either a 44 or 454 as far as kick is concerned. In general, what do you think of this new caliber?

I saw a guy at the range with a 480 Ruger SRH.It does have a stout recoil.Even though I didn't shoot it,it does look manageable.Since this is a new cartridge only time will tell if becomes popular or falls to the road side like so many have in the past.I would like to see it make it but it does have allot of competition against the 44 mag and 454 Casull.Ruger Redhawk

Recoil-wise, the .480 should be roughly in between the .44 Mag and .454. The .454 can be damn near brutal with 260 jfp@1800 fps loads!

Shoots right in between the 44Mag and .454. I talked my buddy into loading some with alliant for target shooting. Will let you know how bad it was.
