Adjustable objectives??

I've had a lot of optics come my way, and I'm sold on variable magnification scopes, but my issue is the parallax settings-I've come to believe that if it's variable mag then it needs to be adjustable objective as well, although I have had limitless parallax glasses that did quite well without....

What's all yall's opinion on this? Do you prefer to have an adjustable objective, or do you feel it's not necessary-or even a hinderance on some scopes?

I believe they they are not at all necessary on a big game rifle.I do however use them on varmint rifles.

RE: Adjustable objectives??

I should have pointed that out I guess, I'm talking about a high magnification scope on a precision rifle, like a varminter or a target/benchrest rifle, not just a glassed deer rifle-they're handy on a big game gun, but I agree, they aren't necessary, whereas I feel they definately ARE on any varminter or BR rifle I'm going to own.
