I want to know which rifle is better to hunt for deer and antelope like .243 or .25-06? I dont care about what kind of rifles brands.. Thanks...

I own and have used both and I would give the 25-06 the edge . I try to limit how far I will shoot so that either rifle will do the job and have never had a problem with making a clean kill with them .

I concurr with Halcon, you got to give the edge to the .25-06 for range and power.

It's not a large edge I truly believe.

There is really no comparison! The .25/'06 is way beyond the .243- So is the .257 Roberts, for that matter!!

Go with the 25-06 or 257 Roberts. Both are much more rifles with little extra recoil.

look closely at the .260 rem. It is arguably one of the best cartridges you can use for whitetail. Buy as you have seen above, .243, 25-06 and .257 are will do a good job with these guys all leaning towards the bigger end of things.

Same here, I'd go with the .25-06.
