2 magazine questions
 

I have 2 seperate questions about magazines
#1: I have a ruger 10/22, and my magazines never want to feed without stopping. Like the tension on the spring is down, or its just getting slowed or something. How can I fix it, or should I just buy new ones and take back the old ones..haha

#2: I have a remington 870 express super mag. and the magazine cap doesnt stay tight. It was one I had to put on with a sling kit. What can I do to keep it tight. I always have to take it on and off with putting a plug in it for waterfowl...thanks for the replies

Can't help with the Rem but I had a similar problem with a 10/22 rotary mag also. I wrote Ruger to ask if there was any way to fix it, or if there was maintenance required and and they send me a new mag no charge.

The inside of the Ruger clip may just be dirty.I had something similar happen with one of my mags, solved the problem with a good dose of wd-40 and let it drain upside down. If that doesn't work, just buy a new one, they are cheap enough.
As for the jamington...I mean remington, try wrapping the treads with teflon tape. 3 - 5 wraps should keep it in place until you unscrew it again.

I have had the same problem w/ my 870. If the teflon works, or you find something else that works please pass it on!
