Limbsaver/R3 Recoil Pad

It says that it can be only put on synthetic stocks, why's that? I couldn't put it on a wooden 870 stock?

RE: Limbsaver/R3 Recoil Pad

Are you referring to the R3 pad available on the Reminington website? Limbsaver makes a recoil pad that you can swap out on the Wingmaster. The model number is 10102. You can order from www.midwayusa.com. I'm not certain how the fit is (yet). If I have the time over the weekend I'll find out. I have one sitting on the desk and have been meaning to get to it for a few while now.

There's no reference to the 870 Express on the package or the Limbsaver website. I can't say if the dimension are the same for both models.

Nevermind, i've found one on cabelas for an 870 wood stock. thought it's intended for the wing master and "May not fill all 870 express stocks"...

Hey Mossyoak02...

That's cool that you found the recoil pad. I've seen them at Green Top Sporting Goods here in Richmond, VA. They slip right over the stock to double protection. With that thing, you could shoot 3" magnum 1oz slugs or #00 buckshot all day long and lot worry! ;)
