Default Removing Tikka Whitetail receiver from stock?

If I buy the lefty whitetail hunter I want to waterproof the inside of the wood stock. Is the receiver easy to separate from the stock? My BDL has a dowel that must be tapped out and resealed to the stock.

About as easy as most bolt action rifles. Just loosen two screws and you're done.

I'll have to look when I get home. There should be a screw behind the trigger guard, and another one in front of the magazine well. Remove those and it should lift right out. Mine has a laminated stock so I haven't worried about it.
