Lazzeroni

I just went to the Lazzeroni website, as I haven't been there for a while, and another post reminded me of it.
The Savage Model 16LZ is selling for $399 right now!!
My jaw about hit the floor!
I am just so flabergasted I just had to say something, it took a lot for me not to order it right now, because I would be FLAT broke if I did.

Good grief Charlie Brown why not? lol. A good friend of mine is on his second season with his "baby Lazz" Savage/Patriot and all I can say is it is a GREAT gun! Had I already not gotten the Sako/Warbird before the Savage/Patriot rig was offered I probably would've chosen the lil Savage. Savage offers a barrel in the 7mm short Lazz (damn CRS is kickin in, cant remember the name) and I'm sure I will eventually have to have one of those lil diamonds. The gun handles and shoots like a dream (tho it kicks like a rented mule! but that is easily remedied with a KDF.) and is one fine gun capable of most any big game hunting a hunter dare pursues. My bud went from an old 7400/30-06 of his grandads his first year to the Savage and the first deer he killed with it was a doe that went straight down in her tracks at 308 yards.

That price is an absolute steal. You get 300 WBY Mag ballistics in a 6# short action package for the price of a 700 ADL!!! ;)

I like those deals too. If I had the cash right now I would be getting the Sako Trgs in either 308 or 7mm long action. Its the one with the scope deal with burris on top. I love it and would have it in my gun rack if I could.
