TC encore
 

Hey guys, I am currently looking at the TC encore hunters package in .300wsm. This comes with a scope also, its a 3x-9x-40mm. What do you think about this package? anyone hear have a TC encore. What do you think. I like the idea of it being a single shot. My main concern is its accuracy. Are TC accurate? Any input would be appreciated. thanks.

There has been input on this gun already. Go back a couple of pages in this forum and you should find some information. Not to many guys have this rifle, so the response will not be as active as other rifles. I didn’t know T/C Encore had a hunter packages or is it supplied by a sporting good store? What is the brand of scope supplied??

You will be well satisfied with this rifle.they are very well made guns ,and T/C has a warranty dept. that is equaled by none.

I bought the pistol in 45 410. The 410 is really fun to shoot and I can actually hit skeet with it. I am saving for the 300mag rifle barrel.

I' ve got this rifle in the 209 X 50 caliber muzzleloader. (209 shotgun primer) This is a very accurate rifle. I also own a 300 WSM in another type of rifle and absolutely LOVE this cartridge. Sounds to me that you' ve got a winner there.

I take it you mean the 300 Win mag? The Encore is a great firearm and I believe you will truly be happy with it, however, I've heard of too many problems with the people that have tried to chamber it in a Short Mag.

The only other caveat is that the encore are pretty light and the recoil in a magnum is pretty heavy. The accuracy is very good on mine, however it took a little while to find a load that it really likes, I don't mean it to be a benchrest gun, but it'll hang with any break open single shot made, and outshoot a good many of bolt actions.

Better retry that web listing I believe that you will find it to be a 300 Win Mag. TC does not and will not even recommend any of the WSM in the encore. I am real familiar with TC's hunter packages and that is for the 300 Win Mag. The accuracy is outstanding and the 300 is one of the most popular of the encore offerings.

I haven't had any experience with the 300WM on the Encore, but I can certainly vouch for the Encore, and T/C in general. For my Encore shoulder stock, I have the .308, 209X45 muzzleloader brl and the 12ga turkey barrel and they all shoot great.

I shot a woodchuck at 503 yards with a my 25-06 Encore,ACCURATE...:)
