.204 Ruger

Has anyone got any info on this new round by Hornady . I read on some promo info that its supposed to turn 4225 fps with a 32gr bullet . Just curious about it . Hal

Hi halcon,

The only info I' ve read or heard is located on the Ruger web site. I didn' t think to check the ammo manufacturer' s yet...other than it' s a V-Max bullet.

The new round is based on the .222 Rem Mag case and not the .223 case.

4,000+ FPS aught to get some attention.....

I built one three years ago on a .223 case and I can attest to the fun this little caliber has in it....I hope they' re very successful in this venture.

Midsouthshooterssupply is already taking orders for ammo. Supposed to be here in February. Ruger is supposed to have 5 rifles out by March. #1B,#1V, regular bolt action, all weather version, target model.

Midsouth also is taking orders for T/C Barrels.
