T/C encore

Does anyone know how to float the forearm on the T/C encore. I know Virgin Valley sells a kit to float it but it shouldn' t be that big of a job to put posts on it and free float the barrel.

Some one had mentioned to free float the barrel with rubber o-rings but I have no idea how it’s done ???

Mine is a wooden stock and forearm and I used 2 steel washers to help free float my encore and I took away all wood touching the receiver and barrel.Put in an over sized hinge pin and did a trigger job. And for a muzzleloader it will drive tacks.

Herman, I have seen some info saying that an oversize hinge pin will help accuracy on the encores. One company even offers a reamer to make sure that the oversize will fit. Where did you get yours and how much?
