Source for shotgun parts
Does anyone know of a supplier for wooden shotgun stocks and forearms, other that the manufacturers? I need a new forearm for a Rem 11-87. It is cracked badly from a manufacturer defect but Rem. says it' s over the warranty time.

A local gun shop may be able to help you out. I broke mine in half shooting 3.5 steel through an extra full turkey. But I think he may of gotten it from the manufacture.

If you want a brand new one from the factory then try Brownells. Go to the link ant type in 116 in the quick find selector.

Shooting catalogs usually have some. Look at the Cabela' s website.
I have also had good luck finding stocks at the larger gunshows where dealers bring tons of used stuff to sell. Look through those boxes! Clint |
