Browning BOSS

I have a .270 medalion with Boss. I only had a few minutes so I took it to the pit to see if it was still on. I shot three times at 50 yard and 3 at 100. I was at least a foot high at 100. When I got home I noticed the Boss on the end was loose and the setting was off. Would a loose boss change my ballistics that much? Any one have any experience with BOSS?

yes a loose boss will change the settings on your sightin especially one that loose... I think even tight as could be on an extremely cold day it will affect POI.. I would have shot a little more though before I was going to judge if the gun is shooting at the correct POI.

Yup, a loose BOSS will definately effect your POI, after all,it' s main pupose is to fine tune your POI.
