This is stupid question.
Nice to meet you all.
I am desperately looking for a custom barrel for my savage220.(other than a tur hunt)
In Japan, hunters with less than 10 years experience cannot legally own a rifle.
So what do I do?
Young hunters use a "SLUG GUN with the rifling crudely shaved halfway down the barrel"!
But the accuracy is terrible.
Have you ever seen a highly accurate custom barrel with rifling on only half of the barrel?
I'm trying to get an accurate half rifle barrel.

I agree very much.
Savage220 is fitted with a very good slug barrel.
However, Sav220s imported to Japan have half of their rifling shaved off. In a factory with poor accuracy in Japan.
This is very silly.
I want an accurate half-life ring barrel anyway

Thanks for your comment.
Yes ... I also used a Rem870 20GA Japanese half rifle barrel.
However, the accuracy was 6 to 8 inches at 100 yards...

Could be a problem with Japanese barrel machining techniques...
Is it easier to find a custom barrel on a Rem870 than on a SAV220?
