At it's heart is a 10.5" Faxon pencil barrel. 6.5lbs all up, loaded and as pictured with an M16 BCG-

Nice. Not a big fan of that extra piece up front though. But that looks like something out of a sci-fi flic! Have you shot it yet?

Nice although I'm not a big fan of that extra piece up front. It looks like something out of a sci-fi flic! Have you shot it yet? What chambering? I'm guessing 5.56.

I have about 2000rds total through it. A variety of bulk .223 55 gr JSP, 5.56mm 55gr XM193 FMJ, .223 55gr FMJ, 5.56mm Barnes 70gr TSX and 5.56mm Colt Defense 62gr ballistic tip.

Shoots really nice. It is by far the most accurate with the Barnes 70gr TSX, which shoots a tad under 2 MOA.

is this registered as a short barrel rifle or, claiming a pistol on it?
they can be a lot of fun in smaller packages, but they can have some crazy paperwork legal defining moments at times with them, even the BATF , has a confusing time determining what they are when this size LOL
I have had many like size and shorter, back when I had my class III dealers lic, sold a LOT as well!
you'd besuoprised how accurate some are as well being so short!

Even if this one were approved as an NFA SBR at some point, the configuration pictured is a Title 1 pistol.

It is an AR-15 pistol. Note the skeletonized KAK shockwave blade pistol brace.

yes but that doesn;t mean you couldnt't also register it as a short barrel rifle and that can open up a lot of other cool options for you.
