Leupold LPS 10x vs. Ziess Conquest 9x

I' m getting a new rifle and I am looking for a great scope that will increase my low light capability, the deer in my area come out right at dusk and I need every edge I can get to bag that big buck.

What do you think?????

The conquest is a brighter scope than a leupold with the same size lenses due to it' s superior european lenses and coatings.30mm scopes are primarliy used to provide more windage and elevation adjustment and are not necessarily any brighter than 1" scopes.

Pssssst, wanna know the truth? [>:] The folks at Leupold dont want everyone knowing that the internal lenses in the 30mm LPS tube are NOT 30mm! They are still only 1" , its just a marketing ploy. That being said they are still fine glass but comparing them to a Conquest is more appropriate than comparing them to the 30mm European scopes that they are marketed as competition for.

Now ya know,
