Finally joined the NRA....
Well, after turning 21 I finally joined the NRA yesterday. Usually I have just supported them and their cause, choosing not to join because of concern over what future employers might have to say about it, and after reading some things yesterday I just got fed up. We are making good progress against gun legislation, but the anti' s are still very determined. Anyone read their black list yet? Who would have thought that Billy Crystal, Terri Clark, and others like that have voiced approval for gun legislation? I think that the second amendment will end up at the Supreme Court here soon, and I want them to be armed, no pun intended, with every member and supporter they can. So, if anyone hasn' t joined yet, I urge you to do it. It only takes a few minutes, and a one year membership is $35 (if a poor college boy can do it, anyone can). Lets show all the anti groups that this is their last stand, and just beat them with numbers, smarts, and what they are lacking most, common sense. Thanks for listening to me rant fellas!

RE: Finally joined the NRA....
Thanks guys! I am really excited about the whole thing, and to be a part of something that is alot bigger than any individual. I guess it just felt kind of gross to own and enjoy guns and let others shoulder the load for protecting those rights. Again, thanks fellas!

RE: Finally joined the NRA....
Way to go Big Bore, I' m glad you made the right decision.Something I don' t understand what does joining the NRA have to do with future employment? First of all it' s none of their business. Secondly they wouldn' t know it unless you told them. Thirdly joining or being a member of the NRA is not a disgrace or anything to be ashamed of.You joined the greatest and strongest Pro Gun Organization and should be very proud that you did. I want to thank you personally for joining ,supporting the NRA and the Second Amendment.I' m sure all NRA Members apprciate it too! I know I can speak for F4YG and Strut.
