Ammo for Browning BAR in 7mm-Rem Mag
I just recently bought a beautiful 1981 BAR in 7mm-Rem mag and wanted to know what people recommended for ammo. I am in Maine and hunt whitetail and hopefully will get my name pulled for the moose lottery (knock on wood). |

most of the guys I know that own a 7mm mag BAR , say the 140-168 grain ammo is the most accurate.

btw I picked up a BAR in caliber 270 win a few years ago , its one of the most accurate rifles Ive ever handled with 150 grain speer bullets,

I'd buy 3 factory loads, 160, 150, 140, and see which does best.
I'd hope the 160 was the most precise, but they do have some solid 140 and 150 gr bullets nowadays too. |
