WTB Remington 7600 .35 whelen

Can't help you. Nice wood. If it rattles replace oring . My year barrel had to come off. Love hate with this gun. I like in rain all metal is exposed and can be wiped.
thought about getting rid of retired 15 years. But I love the feel of stock. Shot my first bear with it this year, so has forever home now. this year my jacket got caught in slide when making 2nd shot. mine in 82 or 85, bought used. Will shoot 1 moa. But opens up inches if right in a row, and needs to be clean.. doesn't clean easy. Someone said the old Remington had pours barrels. But I have never had bore scope or now how it started life. they got a bad rap for accuracy, they don't deserve. I'd like to try new one, |
several of the guys I hunt elk with think the 7600 35 whelen, is a top choice,
Ive used one and I don,t see a damn thing thats in need of improvement if you hunt the ticker timber areas. ![]() |
The rattlevcan get annoying. An area they got bad reps. Some years you don't have pull barrel off I believe. Getting all that back together is exercise in patients

I see Grices has some synthetic stock.35s right now.
But I really want wood. -Jake |
I think wood is pretty. But lean the other way if it is natural wood. The wood on the pumps don't touch the wood. I used the pump this year, cause all the metal is exposed. Easier to clean when raining.
