Default Couldn't resist

Well I think I finally have my lever action set complete. At least as far as I'm concerned. I picked up a nice used Marlin 336 in 35 Rem today. So now my levers include:
Win 94 30-30
Win 94 32 Spl
Marlin 1894 357 Mag
Rossi 92 44 mag
Marlin 336 35 Rem
Marlin 1895 Guide Gun .45-70
Marlin 1895 Cowboy .45-70
Win 88 308 Win
Win 250 .22 LR
If I ever find a Win 88 in 284 or 358 at a decent price I'll be adding that to the collection.

Can I come live with you guys. I was told in no uncertain terms that I DO NOT need another gun.
By the household financial officer. I just found a Win. 32 SPC. and a 30-30 bolt action. Neither would have set me back more than 250 for the bolt and 350 for the lever. BUT NOOOO. I don't need another gun.

Good grief Sonny, you don't tell her, you just bring it home and put it in the safe and it disappears into the inventory. Better to apologize than ask permission. I still haven't had to apologize. I know I don't need another gun, but it isn't up to anyone else to ell me that.

I had a 71. Nice rifle but was offered a price that I couldn't resist and sold it. Now that I think of it I could use a Win 1886 in .45-70 and an 1895 in 30-06 or 30-40 krag. Darn it!!!!

Mr. Bronkoski, just what is wrong with a 99? The old man absolutely loved them. And I believe you know just how big of a lever collector he was. I used to grab one of his old 99's back in the day for a whitetail outing. Of course it was his favorite rifle. I'd always have to hear "damn theivin kids" and stifle a grin. Or "nooooo that Marlin just aint good enough for you huh your majesty the prince". That was his 99 in .300sav. Don't know how many deer I dropped with that big boy. Nowhere near as many as he did.

Not really sure what it is. I handled several of them and not sure if its the fit or the feel. They just don't feel "balanced" in my hand like a saddle gun or a 88.
