deer hunter 21...
i own a rem 1100 i bought that was used for one bird season. the only problem i have found with this rem 1100 was 2 years ago heading into the woods with my second cousin to hunt turkey. i could not close the action to let the round enter the chamber. i ended up breaking a part of the pin that enganges it. so i had to sit ad watch my cousin that morn take a tom.
but besides that i have rarely had any jams in this shotgun in the field. had several jams at the range when it would eject the spent shell and not load another in the chamber.
gun feels like an extension of my arm . i thought i would give you alittle bit of info on the rem 1100. i have used both a rilfed barrel and smooth bore' s on this gun.

If I wanted an auto that would last a lifetime or hard shooting, I would purchase either a Beretta or Benelli. The Remingtons would be third on my list. I' d avoid cheap autos.

Browning Gold, much better than the 1187, but cheaper than the Benelli. Love the auto feed operation when needing that one extra follow up shot on ducks. Most accurate slug gun I have ever owned. Got a 1187 used for upland, blueing sucks, don' t like the rubber band seal. Heard they changed that.
