Which performed better is 1 a advantage over the other I believe the bullets are different how does the hollow point perform on deer ?

I'd go with the American Whitetail with the Interlock bullet. Hollowpoints tend to seriously damage a LOT of meat in close range shots from fairly fast rounds such as the .308. I load the interlock in many of my cartridges and have yet to have bullet failure. Most of my rifles tend to group well with them also.

Use the American Hunter line, with the Interlock bullet. The 155 BTHP (aka OTM) isn't a proper deer hunting bullet. They have the AMP jackets, which are very thin, with no taper, such they're really not a good hunting bullet for midsized game. Wanna blow up colony varmints? Sure, wanna make big splashes on bottles of water, sure. Want to kill deer? No - get the Interlocks loaded in the American Hunter line.
