Cleaning Synthetic Stock

Hello-

After slogging around in the bogs in Maine last week, my gun needed a good cleaning. But, the synthetic stock still could use some more. What do you guys use to clean your synthetic stocks? I wanted to ask before using any solvents that might damage it.

Thanks!

I' ve always just used a mild mix of dishwashing liquid and water. You can use an old tootbrush to scrub any dirt out of the checkering.
